My passion started when I was young and continued to develop through my design degree. I now find inspiration from my love of travel and my home surroundings nestled between the Lake District and North Pennines national parks.
I have multiple international awards and publications, multiple film festival acceptances as a director, but at the end of the day its not about me – its about bringing your vision to life and capturing your beautiful day.
I specialise in beautiful, elegant video with a cinematic and modern twist. Nothing posed, nothing forced, just simple film making with you, your story capturing the authentic you.
Your wedding day is one of the most important days in your life so it is to me too.
Capturing your biggest moments to your smallest ones. Everything is designed with you in mind, the feel of the ceremony and the wedding vibe, the emotions on the day and those little moments that make your day yours. These are the ingredients that make it your video.
There is no one size fits all, everything is bespoke, down to editing style, music choice or even the final colour choices in the film. So a bit about me:-
- I’m a keen basketball and volleyball player, I’m currently the coach for Carlisle Cannons volleyball. Unfortunately I’ve picked two sports where you really need to be tall, I’m 5’11 on a good day…
- I started my camera journey as a landscape photographer where I once won the biggest competition in Europe, 360,000 entries, ran by Photobox.
- During lockdown I got really bored and started making little short films, one of which won 3 film festival awards, it was about my son being a farmer (its on my Youtube channel)
- Other short films include my really bad acting in weird sci-fi stuff, go check them out they’re pretty funny.
- KFC is king- I could literally live off it everyday.
- I used to be really quiet and shy
- I spent nearly 15 years as a car salesman – I’m not shy anymore lol
- I have the most eclectic taste in music, anything from pop to rap from heavy metal to folk.
- I’m an ambassador for Samyang Global (basically means I get all my lenses for free lol) and Holdan UK (one of the biggest distributors to the pro-video, broadcast, film and AV industry)
- As much as I come across confident and on top of the world, imposter syndrome is a big thing, but I’m thankful for it as it keeps me humble when people pick me to share their big day!
